Groups that are claiming exemption for sales and/or occupancy taxes must submit a Texas-issued tax exemption certificate. The status of all groups that are claiming exemptions are reviewed with the Texas State Comptroller’s office. Your Catering or Event Manager will reach out to you prior to your arrival and request a copy of this certificate to hold on file. The appropriate adjustments and credits will be made to your expenditures during your event and will be reflected on your final bill.
